Privacy Policy

1. Summary

Snar's Lab collects the minimum amount of personal data required to grant Discord access, process payment, and operate the Service. Specifically: your Discord user ID, your Stripe customer ID, and the email address you provide at checkout. Nothing more.

Snar's Lab does not sell personal data, does not run advertising networks, and does not embed third-party trackers on the website.

The Service also reads public Roblox data through Roblox's documented public APIs. That data is about Roblox games, not about you as a customer.

2. Information collected

The following information is collected and stored:

• Discord user ID. The numeric ID of your Discord account, used to identify you inside the Snar's Lab server and to grant or revoke the Member role.
• Stripe customer ID. The ID Stripe assigns to your subscription, used to link your Discord access to your active billing status.
• Email address. The email address you submit at Stripe Checkout. Used to send receipts and payment-related communications.
• Watchlist and alert configuration. The Roblox games you choose to track and the alert conditions you set are stored so the bot can deliver them.
• Command usage logs. Logs of slash command invocations, including the command name, timestamp, and inputs you submit. Used for debugging, rate limiting, and improving the Service.

Snar's Lab does not store your Discord password, your payment card number, your full Stripe customer profile, or any data not listed above.

3. How information is used

Collected information is used only to:

• Grant and revoke access to the Snar's Lab Discord server based on subscription status.
• Process recurring payments and send billing notifications through Stripe.
• Operate features the user has chosen to enable, such as watchlists and DM alerts.
• Maintain the security and reliability of the Service through rate limits, abuse detection, and operational logging.
• Respond to support requests submitted in the Discord server or by email.

Information is not used for advertising, profile resale, or any purpose beyond running the Service.

4. Third party services

The Service relies on the following third party processors:

• Stripe, Inc. Handles all payment processing. Card numbers and full billing information are submitted directly to Stripe and never touch Snar's Lab's servers. Stripe's privacy policy is at stripe.com/privacy.
• Discord Inc. The Service runs inside a Discord server. Discord stores your account and message data under its own Privacy Policy at discord.com/privacy.
• Anthropic. The bot uses Anthropic's Claude API for natural language features such as the /ask command and the weekly digest. The text of your queries to /ask is sent to Anthropic to generate a response. Anthropic's policy is at anthropic.com/legal/privacy.
• Roblox Corporation. The Service reads public Roblox data through Roblox's documented public APIs. No personal data about Snar's Lab customers is sent to Roblox.

5. Sharing of information

Snar's Lab does not sell, rent, or trade personal information. Information is shared only:

• With the third party processors listed above, strictly to provide the Service.
• When required by law, valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Snar's Lab, its members, or the public.

6. Data retention

Information is retained for as long as your subscription is active. After cancellation:

• Your Discord user ID, watchlists, alerts, and command usage logs are deleted within 90 days, unless retention is required to resolve a billing dispute or to meet a legal obligation.
• Stripe retains its own records of payment history for the period required by financial regulations.
• Aggregated, non-personal data derived from Service usage (for example, total games tracked, total snapshots recorded) may be retained indefinitely.

7. Cookies

The Snar's Lab website (snarslab.com) does not set tracking cookies, does not embed analytics scripts, and does not run third-party advertising pixels. The website is served as static files with no client-side session storage.

The Stripe Checkout page, hosted by Stripe and reached from this site, may set cookies under Stripe's own policy.

8. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of the personal data Snar's Lab holds about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention requirements.
• Withdraw consent and cancel your subscription at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, email snarloon@gmail.com from the email address on file with Stripe. Requests are typically processed within 30 days.

9. International users

Snar's Lab is operated from the United States. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer and processing of your information in the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with data subject rights laws (such as the GDPR or UK GDPR), you have the rights described in Section 8 above, and additionally have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

10. Children's privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13. Discord's own terms also require users to be at least 13 years old. Snar's Lab does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If a parent or guardian believes a child under 13 has signed up, please email snarloon@gmail.com and the account will be removed.

11. Security

Snar's Lab stores personal data in an encrypted database on a private server. Network access to the database is restricted to internal services. Payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-DSS-compliant provider; no card data is stored by Snar's Lab.

No system is perfectly secure. While reasonable safeguards are in place, Snar's Lab cannot guarantee absolute security and is not liable for unauthorized access resulting from circumstances outside its reasonable control.

12. Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by notice in the Snar's Lab Discord server. Continued use of the Service after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
